Digital Trailblazers is a tool developed by the University of the West of England (UWE)'s Inspire Sustainability team - highlighting the West's best engineering inventions of the past, present, and future, and linking to the organisations and people that create them.
Explore famous engineering landmarks, businesses, and institutions via a series of trails throughout the West of England, which you can choose to explore digitally or on foot.
Teachers/session leaders - download free hands-on, curriculum-linked sustainable engineering lesson plans for Key Stages 2, 3 and 4. These STEM myth-busting sessions can be found in the Resources tab. Each workshop is designed to engage pupils with engineering, climate and sustainability, enabling students to relate the required curriculum knowledge to real-world careers and problem-solving.
You could even book in a trained member of the Inspire Sustainability team to come and deliver a workshop to your class - enquire here.
